Abstract

In today’s era of automotives there is the tremendous increase in the electrical vehicles and automatic system. The aim of our project is to design and fabricate the system which is capable of detecting the obstacles in its line of motion and stop the motion of vehicle by automatic braking and simultaneous motion of bumper to avoid the damage to the vehicle is case of collision and also assist the driver in the high traffic density areas where the driving is hard and the chances of collisions are less. This system consists of pneumatic bumper system, solenoid valves, Sensor unit, drive motors. The ultrasonic sensor is used in the detention of obstacle then signal is given to the bumper and braking system. This system can be used for avoiding accidents caused by the ignorance of the driver and the damage to the vehicle due to collision will be saved. The vehicle will be safe for scratches due to bumper protection.
