Intelligent Machines and their applications

Abstract


An introduction to intelligent machines is provided in this chapter. Additionally, applications of intelligent machines to a variety of fields are presented, including humanoid robots, space exploration, and aerial navigation. any machine capable of completing its specified mission in the face of environmental unpredictability and variability. A machine must be able to observe its surroundings and adjust its behaviour in response to what it learns in order to be deemed intelligent. The phrase "intelligent machine" is an anthropomorphism since it defines intelligence as actions that would seem intelligent if they were carried out by a person. Nobody can agree on an exact, precise definition of intelligence. Nowadays, there are many uses for intelligent machines, ranging from the NASA Mars rover to the clever vacuum cleaners we have in our homes.
