Abstract

The supermarket is a type of retail store that sells food primarily. A grocery store sells food in bulk. It is not wise to purchase food from a roadside vendor given the rise in global pollution. Operating a grocery shop properly involves a
great deal of obligation, whether you are in charge of a small, independently owned store as one that is a part of a bigger company. The grocery store supervisor must make sure that everything goes well, that the prices are fair, and that the customers are happy. The goal of this endeavour is specifically aimed at automating various administrative activities, such as controlling sales and purchases, stock details, etc., for Market Shop. A centralised database houses all of the information and transactions in the market. We developed Desktop based application for grocery shop that can be accessed throughout the Desktop. Grocery Shop Billing Application is a Desktop-based application implemented in.NET platform. The record in the database will house the data. This technology was created to help and manage the regular operations of a food store.. Grocery Shop Billing Application is a system that can help the grocery shop to manage their daily activity. The system is implemented with .Net, relational databases (such as MySQL).Overall this system is able to support the daily Grocery Shop operation based on evaluation from real user and the system is able to perform the task correctly. This approach assists in minimising the issues that can arise when utilising a system that requires manual labour. What matters is that recording and retrieving data will soon be made simpler.Food retailers can supervise their activity with the assist of this system because it is simple to use. This Project will keep track of each and every Grocery which is available in Grocery Shop. The user will find the interface to be basic and easy to comprehend. This technology has the ability to examine a shopping store inventory. If any Grocery will be out of stock then that particular Grocery name will be highlighted. Apart from that, the programme is easy to learn and can aid a grocery store in managing its operations. Overall this system is able to support the daily Grocery Shop operation based on evaluation from real user and the system is able to perform the task correctly. This approach will result in less
paperwork, freeing up the customer  spare time to watch the grocery store. The initiative will be simple for usage and nice to users.
