Manufacturing of a Portable and Low Cost Fused Deposition Modelling Principle Based 3D printer: A Review

Tridib Kumar Mahata, Anusuya Roy

Abstract

Three-dimensional (3D) printing refers to a technique during which objects are created by fusing or depositing materials—such as plastic, metal, ceramics, powders, liquids, or perhaps living cells—in layers to supply a 3D object. This method is additionally spoken as additive producing (AM), speedy prototyping (RP), or solid free-form technology (SFF). The current papers aims to present a review on 3D printing stating its benefits and mechanisms used to manufacture a portable and comparatively cheap 3D printer.
