Generative Design and Simulation for Castor Wheel Assembly

Abstract


A castor wheel CAD model can be used to optimise the wheel's design for a
variety of elements, including load capacity, durability, and use. Given the
employment of evolutionary algorithms and search strategies in this
computational process, generative design, also known as evolutionary design,
is not a new idea. It can be characterised as a prototype design system that
creates fresh conceptual designs from scratch using a genetic algorithm. In this
method, a prototype system generates fresh designs and uses a genetic
algorithm to iteratively improve those designs[1]. By employing this strategy,
we may create goods with more sustainable designs that are more effective in
their respective fields. In this technique, the prototype machine creates new
designs and iteratively optimizes those designs the use of a genetic set of rules.
the use of this approach, we are able to generate the sustainable design of
merchandise to lead them to greater efficient in their respective design.
