The impact of novolac wt.% nano additives on rheological properties of NBR/CR blends

Ali I.Al-Mosawi

Abstract

The primary aims of this article are to add novolac nanoparticles with deferent weight fraction (0-40) wt.%, and to study the impact of these additions on rheological properties of the NBR/CR hybrid blend. The rheological properties were measured included viscosity and max torque. Rheometer ODR 2000E device was used to measuring these rheological properties. The results obtained shown that the novolac nanoparticles have a a good effect on viscosity and torque till the percentage 20 wt.% and then both of these properties begins to decline were.
