Abstract

In this study, different types of casting materials are discussed. Parts produced by die castings can be sharply defined with smooth or textured surface and are suitable for wide variety of attractive and serviceable finishes. Die-casters can produce casting in a variety of shapes, sizes and wall thicknesses that are light weight, strong, durable and dimensionally precise. This study discusses on the hardness of different types of metallic materials and the variation of hardness in every point on the material. Besides, properties of materials are also discussed in this study.
