Abstract

The use of composite materials have increased exponentially over the years as composite is considered the future of material technology which is being applied in every industry. Various researches are conducted to improve the various properties of composite materials by altering the physical and chemical properties which results in low weight, improved structural stability, higher specific strength, environment friendly and so on .A hybrid composite are those composite which have a combination of two or more reinforcement fibers, here sisal and glass as fibers and epoxy as matrix, Sisal is a well-known natural fiber used mainly in the production of ropes and mat making. In Present work tensile, impact and flexural behavior of sisal and glass fiber reinforced epoxy Hybrid composites were studied.
