Development of Height Adjustable Projector Stand

Abstract

This paper is on the development of Height Adjustable Projector Stand for better convenient for users. The project was develop based on the need with emerging technology specifically projector, that facilitates and digitizes the way various presentations are conducted including teaching in universities. Although there are many researchers’ and designers of the projector stand, limitations still prevailed in their designs that do not incorporate parts of stand such trolley, height adjustable and laptop platform for the convenience of users. The designed projector stand considered various methods such as turning, facing, milling, threading and sequential of drilling operation that ensured quality result in portable manner. The Height of the stand is Adjustable which comprise four main parts namely; projector platform, column, laptop platform and attached of base with power socket and trolleys. In addition, the platform part of the stand is made movable in 360° direction. The height can be adjusted manually of 2000 mm at the maximum and 1100 mm height at the minimum from the ground level. After adjusting the height to desire level, it can be locked with nut and bolt from two sides to fix the height for stability. The designed have been made to overcome much of the difficulties and inconveniences in placing projector technology.
