A review on Industrial robots

Shubhaseesh Srivastava

Abstract

Industrial robots are being employed more and more in a wide range of sectors and applications because they can be taught to carry out hazardous, unpleasant, repetitive, or other jobs with consistency, accuracy, and precision. They are available in a wide range of variants, with the most significant variations being in the reach, payload, and number of axes of travel (up to six) of its jointed arm.

A mixture of programming software and controllers govern the robot's movements. They can operate around-the-clock, on weekends, with hazardous materials, and in difficult environments thanks to their automated operation, freeing up staff to do other jobs. Robotic technology also boosts output and profits while reducing labor-intensive tasks that could put humans at risk for physical strain or injury.

The current most widespread commercial use of robotics technology is in industrial robots. The early development of all significant robot control foundations was done with industrial applications in mind.
