Design and Fabrication of Plastic Recycling Unit Using Solar and Electrical Heating System

Abstract


The main purpose of our study is to design and fabricate cost-effective plastic recycling machine. As plastic industries depended on fare and imports just as they were having financial obstructions to introduce exceptionally modern and advance recycling machine. The main aim of the paper is to make eco-friendly condition by recycling of waste plastic. To execute this concept, a machine is introduced. This machine works on combination of three processes to fulfill requirement. The initial step is division of waste plastics as per the order of plastic. In the second step, the isolated plastic is fed into the smasher in which plastic dissects are formed. In the third and last, the crushed plastic is fed into the extrusion hopper and then it is fed into the barrel by using extrusion shaft as a feeding mechanism. Barrel is provided with heating elements which give required heat to barrel to form mold and whose temperature is controlled by universal temperature controller as per the type of the plastic. Mold is further fed into the cavity to form the required product.
