Design, Development and Testing of Automobile Spoiler

Abstract


Nowadays, automobiles are developed to tackle high speeds and to overcome the effects at high speeds we use spoilers. The comparative analysis of the spoiler which is one of the most crucial parts of a car body to maintain stability of car; this leads to decrease in drag caused due to high speeds of the car by attempting to reduce the low-pressure zone area. In this study, the 3D modelling is done in solid works by different models of spoilers and analysis is done by ANSYS software where the effect on change in angle of inclination with base with the load induced and better results have been presented, this also comprises of CURA simulation.
