The Energy Aware Smart Home in Everyone Life

Ranjeet kumar Sharma, Kunal Sharma

Abstract

In this research, we introduce an innovative smart home device that focuses on saving energy. The device is based on Hydra, a middleware architecture that enables seamless communication between different types of embedded devices over a P2P network. By integrating wireless electricity metering plugs and connecting them to various household electronics, we can easily monitor and analyze the power consumption data of each device in near real-time. This valuable data can then be used to efficiently manage and regulate the operation of household appliances based on different factors, such as energy prices.

To help end-users better understand and interact with the system, we also develop intuitive user interfaces that display relevant energy consumption statistics, including power fees, energy sources, standby consumption, and more. By providing access to this information, users can make informed decisions about their energy use and take steps to reduce their energy consumption.

We believe that the combination of advanced technology and user-friendly interfaces has the potential to make energy-efficient smart homes a reality.
