Design and Analysis of 3D Printer Using FDM Method

Devakant Baviskar

Abstract

Fused deposition modelling (FDM) is an additive manufacturing technique for layer-by-layer printing of three-dimensional objects. The research's major goal is to create and assess a low-cost 3D printer that can print items within a 200×200×200 mm printing area utilizing easily available materials and manufacturing methods. Phase of additive manufacturing Because of its advantages over traditional methods, 3D printing is becoming more common. A 3D printer is a computer that produces items from plastic, as well as other materials. 3D printers are no longer compact, and they are still very expensive. We are attempting to build a portable 3D printer by studying this issue. Because of its portfolio-like nature, it is easy to take it everywhere. In comparison to other 3D printers, the expense of this printer would be minimal. The main goal of the study is to create a low-cost printer and to encourage firms to use 3D printing. We have added further features to this printer, such as the ability to monitor it from a device or send G-codes directly from an SD card.
