Abstract

Frame is one of the main components of the two-wheeler vehicle. All the important accessories of the two-wheeler are mounted on the frame. It is subjected to various types of loads which could affect the life of the frame. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the motorcycle frame for various parameters such as thickness, materials and loading conditions. The optimization of design is very difficult and the effect is little by traditional methods. Hence the analysis is usually carried out by simulation method using software. The present work focuses on optimizing the cycle chassis frame for parameters such as thickness, materials and loading conditions
