Abstract

The quality parameters of raw and treated water from the treatment plant in Saidabad are assessed based on available data. Water samples are collected from the DND conveyance canal and analyzed. In case of raw water, pH, alkalinity and chlorine content is low during wet season because of the dilution in rainwater. Dissolved oxygen in raw water is high in wet season. After the treatment process, pH and alkalinity decrease but dissolved oxygen and chlorine increase. Chlorination is done for water treatment purpose
