The goal of the project was to investigate an intelligent soil moisture control system in an agricultural green house that was controlled by an Adriano Uno microcontroller. This type of intelligent soil moisture control system aids in the regulation of the field's moisture level and the provision of water as needed. The goal of this study was to look at an intelligent soil moisture control system in an agricultural greenhouse that was controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller. This sophisticated soil moisture control system aids in the regulation of the field's moisture level and the provision of water as needed. In this study, the moisture of the soil is used to operate a control system embedded in an autonomous water pump controller. This technology can also detect methane gas levels in the greenhouse. The modern challenge for the improving the growth of plant and reducing the cost and minimizing the waste of water. It is made of dependable parts and has relatively low cost. Proper irrigation system is required in agriculture. Advantage being reduce human involvement and irrigation with proper care. Arduino ATmega328 is used which is programmed to receive the input signal of varying moisture condition of the soil through the sensing arrangement. The system receives this signal, generates an output that drives a relay for supervising the water pump to work. An LCD display is also fit to the Arduino to display status of the soil and water pump. The soil moisture sensor is inserted into a field a certain distance for sensing the moisture content.References
