Design and Fabrication of Forklift for Industrial Warehouses

Material handling is all about moving unprocessed materials, un-finished goods and finished goods throughout various inventories of many industries. Material handling equipment such as, forklift truck and other equipment has been used in industries for various applications such as lifting, delivery of material on time in inventories such as huge boxes, unprocessed materials, stocks etc. With all the forklifts in existence, we find that there are some improvements that can be made to bring forklifts to a better performance. Forklifts have become one of the most basic transportation tools we use in our lives. With all of the forklifts in existence, we find that there are some improvements that can be made to bring forklifts to a better performance. Segway is a two-wheeled self-balancing transportation system that can be used in any pedestrian area. In this project the machine consists of a linear actuator which converts one motion into another motion that is rotary motion into linear motion and does the lifting. The construction of our forklift is less complex, and it is compact in size can be alternative for the manual lifting. It would be costlier for small scale industries to afford heavy material handling equipment. So, our study pays special attention to building forklift equipment for such small-scale industries.References
