Abstract

This editorial paper discusses on robots that can be used underwater. It represents not only the use of various underwater robots, but also gives a brief insight on soft robotics such as transparent eel robots, robotic fish and underwater robotic vehicle that can be helpful to human life in future. Few of them discussed are wireless underwater robot, transparent eel robot, soft robotic fish, hydrogel robots and underwater robotic vehicle.

    Manu was born in Hyderabad, India in the year 1986. He did his diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (D.E.I.E.) in the year 2005 at Krishnadeveraya Government Polytechnic at Wanaparty, India. Then he did his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 2008 at P. Indra Reddy Memorial Engineering College at Chevalla, India. He completed Masters in Electrical Engineering in the year 2009 at University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT USA. He worked for five years in Information Technology (IT) as a Systems Analyst in United States and has one approved patent from United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and two filed patents. He published many articles including research, policies, reviews, mini-reviews, editorial, short communication and letter to editor in various journals. He is an IEEE Member (Member No: 80399531) and member of Golden Key International Honour Society (Member No: 16342916).
