Abstract

In recent times, the use of metal matrix composites became very popular due to many of its properties. CNT and fly ash reinforced materials possess great potential to the next generation. This paper deals with the study of mechanical behaviour of a MMC using Aluminium as matrix material reinforced with CNT and fly ash. Different samples are made by manual stir casting method and machining is done as per requirements. Tensile test, microhardness test, OM test and SEM test were accomplished with composite specimens.
