Study of the Surface Roughness (SR) Using Main Effect Plots Using Glycerin and EDM Oil

Vishal Pathania

Abstract

SR plays an important role in determining how an object will interact with its environment in real life scenario. In this paper, aqueous solution of glycerin with 80% glycerin and 20% de-ionized water and kerosene oil have been used as dielectric for this study. Only those parameters which have highest percentage of contribution to SR are generally taken into account. This paper studies SR versus current, duty factor, ton for glycerin solution using stationary and rotating electrode. Also study the SR versus current, duty factor, ton for EDM using stationary and rotating electrode.
