Boundary Layer Separation with Steady and Unsteady Flow of Fluid and Slip and No-Slip Boundary Conditions: A Review

Archie Thakur, Shilpa Sood

Abstract

Fluid mechanics is that branch of science which deals with the study of the static, kinematics and dynamic aspects of fluids (liquids or gases). By fluid statics, we mean the study of fluid at rest, by fluid kinematics we mean the study of fluids in motion when the pressure forces are not considered, and by fluid dynamics we mean the study of fluids in motion when the pressure forces are considered. In this study the reviews of different fluids with their conditions are discussed in detail. Also, the fluid mechanics acts as a base for understanding various areas of science and engineering discussed. It is essential to understand the basic principles of fluid mechanics to study any system in which fluid acts as a working medium. The concepts of fluid mechanics are apparent from anything to everything g in our daily life. The applications of the different concepts of fluid mechanics are studied about to find out the different systems.
