IMPACT OF GREEN TECHNOLOGY ON ENVIRONMENT AND MANUFACTURING FIRMS
Abstract
Today, the consequences of increasing producers in the modern world are some issues such as soil, water, air pollution and serious human health threats. Such challenges are called trying to pose risk to the earth's environmental sustainability. Together with the minimal impact on the environment, the need to achieve higher growth in the economy in this matter has resulted in an innovation practice called green manufacturing (GM). The growth of manufacturing industries is important as they have a significant amount of share in total manufacturing output. In today’s competitive environment, Manufacturing Industries are compelled to ensure sustainable profitability through cost savings as well as environment friendly manufacturing process. After reviewing previous investigations we found out that by implementing green practices manufacturing industries can achieve excellent results. Hence, industries need to implement green manufacturing as this will be beneficial for economic and environmental concerns. This paper aims to provide a general model and an overall framework of green manufacturing for industrial enterprises.
