Portable Camera-based Text-to-Speech Converter

Abstract


This paper will introduce an innovative, efficient, and real-time cost-beneficial technique that permits the user to listen to the contents of text images rather than reading through them. Since it has both OCR and TTS technology included this sort of system helps visually impaired people to interact with computers effectively through the vocal interface. Text Extraction from color images could be a challenging task in computer vision. Anything written inside a document a can be converted to a voice by scanning and reading it through Text-to-Speech Converter. This paper consists of two modules of implementation and experimental results, an image processing module, and a voice processing module.
