Fabrication of Custard Apple Deseeding Machine

Abstract


This paper describes a pulp extracting machine, which could separate the seeds and pulp efficiently.
The fruit selected for extraction of pulp is Custard Apple. The pulp and seed extracting process
comprises of scooping, feeding to hopper, and then extracting of pulp by brush plate mechanism. This
machine will provide a clean, hygienic, and hasty method of separating the seeds. Seed kernel
machine is designed on CREO software. Loads handled by deseeding machines are calculated
manually and according to that components are designed for the machine. Details calculations are
given in the manuscript with explanation. Design of deseeding machine also explained step by step.
Fabrication of seed kernel machine further ease the farmers works to separate pulp of custard apple
and seeds. It also increases the employability of the farmers and motivate entrepreneur to start their
own business. The scope of this machine is Indian market and its feasible for Indian farmers.
