Abstract

Hemp pieces are founded in the stem of the plant that makes them stiff and fall, which is a basic need for synthetic reinforcement. The use of hemp pieces as a composite reinforcement has grown in recent years as a response to the growing demand for volatile, long lasting and renewable materials. The mechanical characteristics of hemp fiber are similar to those of glass fibers. However, their greatest detriment is the diversity of their structures. Combinations made from hemp fibroblastic fibers, thermo sets and biodegradable matrices have developed excellent mechanical properties. Many hemp fiber treatments, used to strengthen fiber/matrix cohesion have led to significant improvements in the properties of the adhesive materials.
