An Analysis Of Financial Performance Of Tata Steel Limited.

Abstract


In this paper an attempt has been made to ascertain the financial performance of Tata steel limited. Tata steel is one of the standard companies in steel production industry. Reference period of study was ten years. In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researchers have employed analysis of various ratios. This study is conducted purely based on secondary data obtained through website of the Tata Steel Limited. By using the ratio analysis tool we can analyze the performance of the steel industry of India and we can easily find out the strength and weakness of the companies and their position in the market. Different ratios are used in this study and particularly those which are related to the financial statement. For this purpose balance sheet from 2005-06 to 2014-15 of Tata Steel Limited is used and from them ratios are calculated.
